This is the model you should choose if you want a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than the other models and makes it easier to maneuver into tight corners or under furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar, which when combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it the best navigation and object avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery that lasts for up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can last longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery in mid-clean.

It is very fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways with only one motion. Its 8,000pa suction motor is quick at picking up dirt, crumbs, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects carpets and the double side brush assists in removing debris from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by much. The rotating mop spins at a high rate and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scraping away dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a bit more than other robots. This is helpful when you're trying to get into tight corners or on baseboards. Those same front arms can be used to sweep larger objects, such as broken toys and books.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't produce as much noise when vacuuming or mopping. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It is easy to set up and performs well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum for mopping you must be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a range of features.

The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out your home and find furniture and other obstacles. The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive of our review. However, it has distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is most notable for its massive dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin and an 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base also has a variety of buttons to control the system. These let you manually start a cleaning job, recall the robot, or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents who are worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

This can cause the X1 to get stuck if it is entangled in a blockage like the power cable that is draped over a rug. It won't function until you remove it manually. This was a rare incident however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert in its application.



The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, mopping pads don't get cleaned or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing appearance in a market that is dominated by clunky boxy models.
